Musollahs

A few weeks ago there was Musollah clean-up which was then followed with Musollah set-up a week later.

We came down with sheer determinance (semangat sangat tu...) to put out the foul smell of kelembapan kain-kain and ke-berhabuk-an sejadah-sejadah at all the musollahs on campus. On top of that, it was time the prayer suits and some of the prayer mats needed washing and Softlan!

So we took all the sejadahs and each one of us started to shoot, smack, whack (and whichever other way it took us to get) all that dust off the sejadah. It was quite a violent scene when you see how some of us did it. Then we brought the sejadahs over to the Amphitheater to dry them under the hot Sun. Good thing it was scorching hot! For that moment, one appreciates being near the Equator (or in malay, Khatul Istiwa... aiseman!).

Whilst letting the sejadahs to dry, we grabbed a bite outside the Bookshop and soon after proceeded to Business School to find a spot to have a musollah, after all these 15 years (I think), followed by Admin Blk and last but not least Engineering Blk. For the last one, we had to re-shift our previous musollah location atas perintah pihak atasan. Faham-faham ajerlah kan. But doesn't it make you wonder, why from then till now, the ones at Applied Science Blk remains unsaid about? Whatever it is, alhamdulillah that one needn't be cleared!

More importantly, let's help to keep it that way by keeping the area clean and kempt and never to loiter there to sleep or play games lest this ni'mat may be taken away again from us :)

So for the directions, here are your musollah hot-spots on campus:

OSC(Admin Blk) East Wing Lift Lobby C, Lev 3
ASC IT7-8-7, Staircase 10
ASC IT7-7-7, Staircase 10
ENG EN21-4, all the way to the end
ENG EN25-4, all the way to the end (above Breadboard canteen)

For the ones at ENG blocks, open the door and keep it ajar with the box as your wedge, to allow sunlight and air ventilation to flow in. The lights cannot be used.

These various locations were set up to facilitate us in doing our ibaadah to ALLAH. So let's be responsible to keep it proper and not misuse it. For the sake of others, and oneself :)
